ABOUT ME

Last year I hitchhiked around South America! Although I'm back in my homecountry now, currently cannot host anyone though.

I am a 24 year old traveller (recently - at heart more than anything) from Latvia. I am a mostly quiet and calm person who believes the world is a great place to live in. I like meeting new people and having great conversations about life, philosophy, countries, travelling, green technologies, one's future dreams and so on.
In 2011/2012 I spent 11 months in Portugal via European Voluntary Service, where I volunteered on a pedagogical farm with animals (donkeys!) and where we did some activities for children and youth (including summer camps). I also like adventures and learning some bits and bobs about everything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen Aurora Borealis, visited the westernmost tip of Europe and travelled from Portugal to Latvia in a VW camper van with a bunch of cheerful fellow activists/travellers.

And, well, that hitchhiking around South America thing.

However, I truly believe that my greatest adventure is still to come. And it is coming soon.

Teach, Learn, Share

Having become vegetarian only a short while ago, I would be glad to learn some amazingly simple and surprisingly yummy no-meat cooking recipes. In return, I would strive to provide the best company possible.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A nice cup of tea and some company. Maybe, if the weather permits, we can even go out for a walk in the town, to do some sightseeing.
