About Me
After a long and varied stint at university, I worked last year at a pretty amazing outdoor education centre in Victoria's high country. I'm now on the path to more adventures - cycle touring in Canada is at the top of the list!
Unfortunately as I'm traveling at the moment, I'm not currently able to host couchsurfers.
I spent 2009 on exchange in Canada, and traveled as much as I could through North America. I daydream a lot about traveling again!
I'm usually more of a listener than a talker, but find few things more rewarding than a really good conversation.
I love riding bikes, camping trips, music festivals, funky live music with a spacious dance floor, and cooking good food to share with good friends.
Apart from my degree(s), I've set up a student housing co-operative in Canberra. I've also worked and volunteered in climate and environmental activism, mainly while at uni.
I struggle to write a definitive description of myself. Maybe we can meet and you'll see for yourself!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is such a brilliant way to travel and see places through others' eyes.
I had a healthy handful of stellar experiences in 2009 while traveling in the United States and Canada, and when I had a home again upon my return I hosted quite a few surfers in Canberra.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Roadtripping through Newfoundland in 2009, my companions and I camped by the roadside on a remote headland. We woke at dawn to witness the sunrise, watch puffins and whales in the bay, breakfast on wild blueberries, then freshen up with a bracing nudie swim in the frigid North Atlantic surf. Perfection overload!
