ABOUT ME
I was in a newspaper office for the better part of 3.5 years. Before that, I'd been in university classrooms and other newspapers for most of my 20's. I made a spectacular road-trip across the U.S. in 2008 and now I'm based in southern California, Florida or Kentucky most of the time.
UPDATE:
I am now living on a barrier island on the east coast of Florida. Work is great and allows me to see many parts of the sunshine state.

Have slept on many couches while visiting friends and acquaintances over the years: Seattle, Santa Monica, New Mexico, Colorado, Florida, Nashville, Asheville, Louisville, Bowling Green, KY among other places.
