ABOUT ME

I'm a pretty easy-going person who likes to travel... Unfortunately money is the biggest problem when you travel, but a Polish train station can also be a nice place to sleep for a night ;)...
The coolest evenings are the ones you spend together with some nice people, some beer, wine or martini and a good conversation about politics, law or music - by the way I really enjoy bands like Digitalism, Slagmalsklubben, HotChip, Kettcar, Tomte, BlocParty, Athlete or Counting Crows...
By the way: I'm not a communist, but wouldn't it be a cool experience to travel throu North Korea? :)

PHILOSOPHY

That's a hard question... I guess, you can say, that you lived a good life, when somebody will remember you in a good way...

Music, Movies, and Books

movies: The best movie ever is "The Royal Tennenbaums" - what a great movie! But "the squid and the whale" and "garden state" are awesome movies as well...
books: "Veronica decides to die"
music: BlocParty, Kettcar, Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab For Cutie, Wir Sind Helden, Counting Crows, Jimmy Eat World - and since my time in Nebraska I also enjoy country music ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most fascinating two weeks I had, were the two weeks I spent in Japan. I had a couple of very interesting experiences with Japanese toilets :).
In the Gumna Prefecture I visited a lake. When I stood there, a very, very old lady approached me. She grabbed my arm and pinched it to check if I'm a real human ;). She asked my friend (who is fluent in Japanese) to take a picture of her and me and a measuring tape. She wanted to show to her children that she actually met a person that is taller than 1,90m :)...

Teach, Learn, Share

Interesting things I can do? Hmmm... I can say "Hello, my name is ... . I live in ... . I'm a student. I would like to have deep friendship with you." in Japanese ;)...
Besides that I can count to three in Finnish, but the greatest thing is still wikipedia.org - I wanna have a cell phone with it...
