ABOUT ME

Open minded, helpful, funny student from germany. I studied in Aachen and am about to finish my final thesis in the next weeks...
Right now I'm living in Krefeld, together with my girlfriend

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Through surfing i'd like to combine the two great experiences one can make when travelling: Getting to know the country and getting to know the people who live there, get to know their spirit, their way of life, maybe get helpful information from them about city, activities,....Of course i offer the same to the people who would like to crash my couch. Couch surfing is more than just saving money for the hostel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Fist I heard about CS from a friend of mine who told some great stories about surfing and hosting, I also met some of his CS-contacts/friends and they were really nice. So I thought to myself: I want that too.
Then, when I was in Spain I got my own account and got in contact with people. I was planning to surf in Madrid, but got the response from my host a bit too late so I went to a hostel. I met a couple of people in Valencia via CS but hosting was a bit difficult for me, since I was sharing the flat with 4 other people.

My latest Couchsurfing experience:
1.
I went to a private concert organized by some couch surfers in Duisburg (Germany),the city I'm working, and it was really amazing: The hosts, the guests, the band, the whole atmosphere was super nice, so me and my girldfriend spent a great evening there and will definetely get back if they organize another concert.

2.
First guest hosted (Wally from Belgium) this November. Was a nice eyperience and evening, so I think this wasn't the last time to host people in my home
