About Me

CURRENT MISSION

preparing for a crazy 51-day roadtrip at the East Coast of America with my sister - countdown: 17 days

ABOUT ME

I'm not quite sure about the things I'm going to write here but let's see what's coming to my mind...
Well I'm a 21 years old student in Kiel, Germany. My major is psychology but no fear I cant analyze you yet ^^
In my free time I really like to eat and for that matter I also enjoy cooking and baking. As a balance I visit different sport courses every semester e.g. tennis, volleyball, sailing or rowing. Not just to stay in shape but also to meet some new people and to get to know several kinds of sport.
Once in a while I like to take a trip to European capital cities but I allways dreamed of visiting Australia, Asia and North America and it's going to happen. I saved some money, asked my 23 years old sister to join me and booked some tickets to New York City.
Well I've no idea what's more to say...give me a few days to think about it :)

PHILOSOPHY

There is no philosophy after which I live, I'm just trying to enjoy my life and to see as much of the world as I can. For that reason I started visiting every european capital city just to get some impressions of the country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well there is no experience with CouchSurfing, but I'm looking forward to it!

Interests

I'm spending my time reading, listening to music, studying (psychology it is), meeting my friends...just the things students do! And like an average student I'm having a part-time job as a waiter, so I can afford to travel every once in a while.
Well of course there are some activities which aren't so normal after all e.g. the academic fencing lessons with the guys of the fraternity I'm in or the trips with friends to european capitals.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite movies are "The Day after Tomorrow" and "V for Vendetta"...I could watch them every day!
It's easier to list some of my favorite Bands, so you can imagine what kind of music I like. There are The Beatsteaks, Frittenbude, Casper, Ed Sheeran, The Lonely Island, Deichkind, Crash Kings, Billy Talent, Alex Clare, Chase and Status and lots of others. I think it's a mix of mainstream, british alternative and some german stuff.
Well like I said before I really like to read. I prefer the work of Dean Koontz, Adler Olsen, John Katzenbach, Ken Follett, Frank Schätzing and Walter Moers. As you see it's a mix of Psycho-Thriller, history, Sci-Fi and a sort of fairy tale/fantasy (I'm not sure how to discribe the work of Walter Moers, but you can look it up if you want to).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

That's the question I was kind of afraid of because there isn't so much to say. Well I'm open to new things and hopefully in a few years or so I'm able to share some amazing experiences with you.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well I can teach you some things about the Sorbs and there culture and "rěc" (language) ^^
