About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To find a current mission.

ABOUT ME

For now, I'm hoping to teach English in France until whenever and whatever else happens. I'm generally very laid-back, I love music and films and all normal stuff that people like.

PHILOSOPHY

*insert generic peace and love statement here* I'm a liberal, open-minded and relaxed type of person. I don't expect too many ideological clashes from those participating in couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering a couch whenever possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Good.

Interests

Seriously? I thought we dealt with this already... Ok, music, film, literature, history, food, food, eating, food, wine, guitar, drinking... you know... normal stuff. I also am interested in Pottery, but only because it's my family business... it just means I can bore people about the technical processes behind raku or japanese slipware, interested? No? Don't blame you...

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list. Ask me, or don't, I might ramble on for ages.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Obviously the most fun I've had in my life was during 3 years of my undergraduate degree, in my dirty student flat. That should be true for most people, if not you probably didn't do it right. Oh, but walking on a glacier was really incredible... so was white-water rafting... and cycling from the UK to Spain, (with frequent hammock and brie breaks...)

Teach, Learn, Share

Nothing that's worth knowing can be taught... I think Oscar Wilde said that. (How pretentious of me!) But I can teach English, guitar and will always do my best to give good advice when needed, such as: "It'll probably work itself out in the end!" or "Don't worry about it, let's watch a wildlife documentary about sailfish and drink a beer. There are plenty more sailfish in the sea." etc, etc...

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Norway, Spain
