ABOUT ME

I love the arts, diligently seeing as many museums as I can and learning about the art they host. I'm amazed by the artitecture I've seen in Eurpoe, and find it fascinating and creatively inspiring. I suppose that, just like other travellers, I'm curious about the world.
On my travels I have been overwhelmed by the snap-snap-snap of people with their hi-tech cameras....I don't want to be this overobsessive photographer so am attempting to strengthen my sketching muscles instead by drawing some of the places I see. I find this forces me to stop, carefully observe and experience things in a way my camera won't let me.
I will talk with anyone, most call me pretty outgoing. Am loving my adventures so far, but would love some company along the way. I want to find the people and experiences that will contribute to the making of who I am.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am wanting to mingle with new people - I find a lot of people are travelling in groups and can be somewhat closed. I'd love to meet other travelers to explore the area with or locals who could show me round their area. I'm hoping to make some lifelong friends and memories on this trip and would love to meet others who can help. Wow it is very hard to write this without sounding pretentious....eeek! Nonetheless I'm sure there are others who understand what I mean and feel the same way.

I am a teacher by trade and so am really curious about the wolrd, and it's people. Everyone seem to have such interesting stories!
