Overview
About Me
What can I say, I like dancing, pizza, cold beers (and bubbles...) and good times with my friends! I spent a lot of my time in the dance studio, so when I have time off I love spending that time in good company, learning, creating and growing.
I've travelled a bit, I've lived in New York a couple of times, fallen in love with Paris, rocked it out on the beaches of Ibiza, lounged in the Egyptian sun, jumped in the freezing mountain waters of Norway, enjoyed my Tim Horton's in Canada and walked the historical pavements of Cambridge. Now let's see what else is out there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've "squinted at" Couchsurfing for a time, believing it's not for me, but I went to a social gathering hosted by the group and met so many interesting people! So I'm giving it a go, hoping it will bring new, exciting meetings, people and stories into my life.
Interests
Like I mentioned I love dancing and have been teaching for years, mostly ballet, which is a real passion to me.
I also enjoy traveling, reading a good book, tasting a new (and preferably smokey) whiskey, and at the moment I'm starting a new journey into the world of burlesque dancing - exciting!

Music, Movies, and Books
There's a lot of jazz in my playlists but I also have a lot of fun rocking it out to good house music. Electro swing is a favorite for my show dance classes and interestingly enough a have a favorite opera - Rigoletto!
As far as movies go it depends a lot on the mood I'm in; a film noir for a rainy night (Double Indemnity), a kick ass movie like Sin City is awesome, a good love story like You've got Mail or maybe just get lost in the magic of Enchanted. But my all time favorite movie must be Lost in Translation!
I've read a lot (a loot) of books and the wary from strange fantasy stuff like The Passage, The End of Mr Y, Hitch Hikers guide to the Galaxy, to an excellent writer like Jo Nesbø (norwegian crime), to more life questioning things like Alan Watts and Paulo Coehlo
