Hey, I'm Toni (and yes I am girl, although my nickname usually confuses people:P), I'm 20 and I love meeting new people. I grew up on the country side ( 1 and a half hour away from Munich) but I moved to Nuremberg for my studies when I was 18. From 2016 to 2017 I spend two semesters abroad in Montevideo, Uruguay. I wanted to learn Spanish and I wanted to go to South America, so I decided to chose a destiny that is rather atypical. I loved Uruguay and South America and I would go back there anytime. Now I am in my masters and I am currently in my exchange semester in Bordeaux

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing offers great opportunities to get in touch with locals and to experience as much of the culture in a foreign country as possible.
It's like the best opportunity to explore a place and It's definitely cooler to hang out with locals than with other tourists. To be honest, I wasn't too sure about couchsurfing before but after trying it I wouldn't miss this experience for the world.

Interests

In my free time I love to hang out with friends. Cooking, watching a movie, going out partying or just talking or taking a nap together. I really don't care how to spend the time as long as we spend it together. I play the saxophone and I like swimming and of course I love travelling!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite singer is probably Ed Sheeran, but I also really love Ben Howard and James Bay for example. Bands I like are for example Kodaline, the All-American Rejects, the Fray, the Script.....
I love acoustic music and I am listening to rather unknown bands and artists, like for example Jules Ahoi & the Deep See Orchestra, Billy Rafoul and so on.

I love watching movies and series from time to time, but enjoy it more when I do so in company

My favorite books of all time have been all parts of Harry Potter since my dad first read them to me and my brothers when we were little. I am currently rereading them in french to work on my language skills because they are still pretty bad ahaha.
