About Me
**UPDATE** Unfortunately, I had to take a break from CouchSurfing as I was enrolled in a program at Duke while teaching full-time. However, summer is finally here so adventures are to be had!!!
Growing up in a military family, traveling has been ingrained into my blood. I've lived all over the United States (Hawaii, Florida, and Colorado to name a few) and loved having the chance to experience so many new places.
I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from UNC-CH and went on to get my Master of Arts in Teaching from Notre Dame in MD. Currently, I teach elementary students in NC and could not be happier!
During my breaks and time off, I am always going to new places and doing new things with my friends or family. I am very athletic so I love doing adventurous activities such as hiking, rock climbing, boating, etc. I have a very open-mind and strive to see and do as much as possible in new places.
I am a long distance runner but I also enjoy swimming and cycling. I try to enter competitions every now and then, but mostly just to have fun and meet new people!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am hoping to experience more places and meet new people! I love getting to know individuals and hear their stories. I hope to be able to recommend sights and activities for those that stay with me and vice versa!
