About Me

I'm just a regular shoreside kiwi girl. I live for the beach, art, and my friends. I've just finished my first big trip abroad and am settling into home life again for a while but man that travel bug hits heavy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I was travelling through Europe a friend recommended this social media site to help me get a more authentic experience of the countries I was going to (as well as not going completely broke in the process). It was great to live as the locals do, hang out with them, and hear their personal recommendations!

Interests

As earlier mentioned: beach, art, friends. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories. I really enjoying learning anything that catches my fancy so I'm currently reading up on muscular anatomy and the Italian language when I get a moment (long bus rides aren't always the worst!)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste varies but I love old R&B (with some current), pop, and some rock. I had been listening to a lot of Six60 and Che Fu while travelling.
Gotta love those Disney Animation movies, or some 90's-early 00's teen dramas (Cruel Intentions, Mean Girls, etc.). I watch most movies that aren't horrors and enjoy a lot of serious dramas (like Home was a fantastically done movie) but I only rewatch the comedies - I like having a laugh more

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Not sure! I try to do interesting things as often as possible. In recent memory I really enjoyed climbing Mt Batur in Bali. It was an easy climb but the sunrise was truly spectacular and I highly recommend doing it with a fun group of friends

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit about New Zealand, how to draw/paint, and random useless trivia I've picked up over the years.

I'd love to learn how to cook, if you can speak Italian it'd be cool to practice a lil with you, and just anything about your culture. I also love to hear just general world-views and what potentially shaped yours

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bit of a laugh?
