After I graduated from high school in 2013, a friend and I traveled all over Europe for four weeks on an Interrail ticket. That was an insanely great experience! Back then I knew our continent, so it was probably my home country's turn! This led to my little hike in 2021. I walked through Germany from south to north - 1600km (and met so many nice couchsufers!). Soon after that it took me to Panama, hiking through the jungle. 2023 I spend the summer in the German Alps, working at a mountain hut.

And now I might have finally settled a little bit and found a job that fits: working in a climbing centre and combining my hobby and earning money. I also supervise a group of chaotic little humans there.

Every year there is this hard decision of what to do with my holidays and it's always hard to decide.. hiking, climbing, biking .. any other adventures? This year it was kayaking in Slovakia and hiking in the Alps (the classic one).

Right now I'm maybe able to host, but I have a lot of stuff I do outside of work, so I might not have time for you to connect and show you around. I'm completely fine, if someone is just looking for a place to sleep that fits with a backpacker-wallet. I also have a list of free stuff to do in Hamburg.

I prefer women who are travelling alone, because I want to offer a safe space - but sometimes I accept other people as well. My place is located near the bus station "Brunsberg" (10 min on foot).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing gives me the opportunity to meet many great, warm and nice people who are also adventurous and open-minded towards others.

I always love to exchange about adventures and get a new way of seeing the life. Even if we don't notice it right away: we always benefit from interactions with new people - in many different ways.
