ABOUT ME

I studied some useless social sciences in Leipzig. I felt so comfortable there with my friends, sports and politics so that I never thought about going abroad for a longer time. After my studies I decided to make a change and went to India for one year as a volunteer. I had also much time for traveling over there. Thereby I realized that I've seen many places in the world and that I can travel around such a huge country like India with easiness. But that I don't know my own country pretty well. I lived just in East Germany and even 23 years after the reunification I've seen just a few spots in West Germany. I want to change this... With hitchhiking and couchsurfing... For making interesting experiences, meeting old friends and making new ones, having good conversations and getting new ideas and perspectives.

...So now I've seen some really nice places in West Germany and it was such an impressive trip so that I decided to make a second one very soon. This time I want to hitchhike to other places in Germany,stopping in Munich and collecting a friend, hitchhiking with her to Barcelona...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed some couches in Israel and Russia together with my flatmate. This was such a nice way of traveling and meeting people beyond this superficial way of “normal” backpacker's communication so that I decided to continue it on my own.
Now I made some experiences with couchsurfing alone and I can just confirm what I've said before: It's a great opportunity to get to know interesting people and their sourroundings.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

This entire year in India was really amazing. Especially one incredible night I will never forget: Accidentally I was stuck in the jungle – just with a good friend, a campfire and some cigarettes. Was a little exhaustive but the nature and the amazing sky were worth every minute.
