About Me

Optimistic, respectful, helpful, tolerant. Siberian)
Never smoke or drink hard.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The first CS event I visited in Moscow was completely amazing - I went to a Big House Party in July 2013 with 120 more 'Anti-Boring' people from all over the world not knowing any of them. It was a great fun, and I'm happy to go out with these people on a regular basis!
I've never travelled as a couchsurfer because the most of my trips were in a group of 5-6 friends. Also I had had no conditions to host anyone before 2014.
This year I hosted 3 surfers.

Interests

Exciting trips, nice people, smart movies, catchy music, amateur sports (cycling, swimming, diving, ice-skating, roller-blading), ecology, handmade stuff, board games, nightlife etc etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love smart, touching and beautiful films like Hero by Yimou Zhang, The Fall by Tarsem Singh. As well as many soviet comedies. Horror movies are not my kind, that's for sure!
I used to read a lot when I was a child / teenager, now I read quite seldom. Hopefully things will change one day.
I listen to deep house, lounge, soft rock. Names?... Tori Amos, Depeche Mode, Linkin Park, Nickelback, Coldplay, Keane, The XX, 1 Giant Leap.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm not into extreme sports, so when I think of amazing things, they were rather observed than done. Like Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Ao Nang cliffs in Thailand or a view from Cairo Tower. Also I was fascinated by Red Sea underwater world while taking an entry level PADI course. I hope to extend this experience in future!

Teach, Learn, Share

I had dreamt of being an English teacher since I was 8. But I only started at 31 after getting support and practice from my CS friends. It's the most remarkable example but not the only one - I also learn how to be brave, open, useful and a lot more. I believe people learn from me, too, - it's a pleasure to share my social activities, thoughts and skills to them.
