Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
A Short History of Nearly Everything, Sherry: A Modern Guide to the Wine World's Best Kept Secret, Kafka on the Shore, Unbearable Lightness of Being, One Hundred Years of Solitude, K. Vonnegut, Albert Camus, etc.
Movies:
Possession (1981), 2001: A Space Odyssey, Persona, Akira, Black Swan, Pi, Blazing Saddles, The Holy Mountain, more Darren Aronofsky / Stanley Kubrick -- art films, some horror and comedy, films that capture a mood.
Music:
Dancing is relief I crave to escape from my overactive mind. I need my music to keep up with the intensity of my emotions - whether that be thrill, anxiety, melancholy, heartbreak, or elation. I don't like beige music or songs that are too repetitive.
Karaoke is a recently embraced love of my life. Doesn't take much for me to break out of my shell when there's a stage or a dance floor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Existing is pretty powerful, yeah?
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm open to learning whatever, whenever, and wherever I can.
I strive to be open in my personal exchanges with others in hopes of coming to a grander understanding of each another as individuals but also reflections of ourselves and our collective reality.
