About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Wayfaring wonder in search of a free meal. Unless its liver
ABOUT ME
Out going woman suffering from the Universal Mother Syndrome. That means that I might form an attachment to my guests and try to offer motherly input. Just tell me to shut up (nicely please) and I will mind my own bees wax.
I do not drink alcoholic beverages and prefer that my guests drink moderately if at all. That being said, my uncle makes homemade wine and loves to share. I am a big supporter of medical marijuana and look forward to the day when it is legal to consume in every state.
I will be traveling to Washington DC in August to participate in a march for disabled veterans. So naturally, I hope to find someone's couch to crash on while I'm in the area.
PHILOSOPHY
Free your mind. Your ass will follow. I believe that if one surrounds themselves in negativity then they become negative people. I work very hard at not being a Negative Nancy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Participate in what?
I am very involved with a group on facebook that is specifically for veterans who were exposed to toxic chemicals (such as myself). I am continually looking for new folks to share my story with.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet. But I am looking forward to making new friends around the world.
Interests
Working on my little shack or working on my flower bed. I love being outdoors. Winter brings me down so I'm glad to be in Arkansas where our winter season is short. I enjoy spirited conversation, music, and decorating my shack with weird stuff. I like rocks. Bring me a cool one if you're comin to stay! Unless its to heavy for your pack.

Music, Movies, and Books
I have a large collection of alternative home building books. And a lot of other weird stuff (most half read...). Favorite book of all time is Siddhartha.
Love all kinds of music and love musicians!
Movies, everything except scary stuff.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have worked as an assistant mid-wife and love home birth! The miracle of birth is the most amazing thing in my opinion. I have a thirteen year career in law enforcement so I think I've seen almost everything. I have also worked extensively with battered women as a guide through the legal process.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to share my life experiences bad and good. I come from a long line of story tellers and love to tell funny stories where I ended up looking foolish. But there is always a lesson learned.
Would love to learn Spanish. Can you teach me a little?
I'm always looking for people who have a skill to teach, as I'm always trying to fix up my shack. Hoping to cover my outhouse with plastic bottles and home made plaster. Anyone out there have any experience with that? Or up for the challenge of experimenting with me?
