ABOUT ME

I'd much rather get to know you! There is so much to know about me that I won't attempt to try and squeeze it all into a small box but I'll give you some insight...
I've just moved back home after 4.5 years and after putting my wants and needs on hold for that time I'm starting to go out and explore the world whilst I get to know myself again.
I love reading a good book, watching a movie or listening to a complete stranger's life story. So many people miss out on knowing someone special because they don't want to say the first 'hello' so I'm determined to always be the first person to speak. After all, if you never speak to anyone how are you supposed to learn and grow yourself?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been to a couple of CS meet ups and organised one of them myself. I plucked up the courage recently to go for dinner with 18 people I'd never met before and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. We shared stories of travel, stories of life and stories of ourselves; how can anyone not want to join CS? I likened our meal to a UN convention there were so many countries represented!
I have also been out for a day of walking, exploring and general fun with about 8 CSers and it was a fantastic day despite it pouring with rain! YHou can't beat meeting a good CSer!

Interests

Socialising with friends, reading, watching films, volunteering and planning my big trip (3 months solo travel around Asia next March).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done is white water river rafting in the Dominican Republic - fantastic!
The most amazing thing I've seen? Sunset at Corbiere Lighthouse in Jersey, Channel Islands. I've traveled a few places but I've yet to find somewhere else that beats it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can't do dishes to save my life but I can cook and I enjoy it. I also fairly enjoy housework so I'm not shy about helping if and when I need to!
