About Me

I'm a 28-year-old guy from Slovakia working here as a translator (EN to SK). Though I work on a regular basis from 9 to 5, I like to take a break and travel a bit. I'd like to meet inspirational and positive people across the world to share their way of living with me. I consider myself an easy-going, open-minded, friendly and adaptable kind of person, which means I can get along well with mostly anyone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Instead of going to hotels, I'm much more interested in meeting you guys who would go out for a drink, show me the city (I can go and sightsee by myself if you don't feel like going places which you've already seen like a million times), talk without limitations -- simply put, spend some quality time with me and be a good company. Also going out with your friends is something I welcome (the more the merrier).

Interests

Swimming, hiking, run4fun, playing the piano
Stepping out of my comfort zone => this is sometimes quite a demanding thing to do, especially when one moves in a beaten track. But the final result is worth it... so far it's always been.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music => The Corrs, Celine Dion, 80s, 90s, PSB, Katy Perry (almost everything except perhaps death metal where people scream in a disturbing way:))
Movies => Anything from Tarantino, Cameron, Spielberg, Zemeckis
Books => Harry Potter (great way to escape reality), psychological/motivational literature

Teach, Learn, Share

Since I'm deeply interested in foreign languages and their differences/similarities with my mother tongue (Slovak), I'm eager to learn something about the language of the country I'm travelling to.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Little something from my country. Including me, haha. :))) Have something particular on mind? Name it.
