I teach private piano lessons, and I'm starting to get into real estate investing. I want to open an unschooling nonprofit eventually, and write books about educational philosophy, hackschooling, etc. I grew up in Austin; I've traveled and lived in several other places, but I'm back in ATX to stay (I hope). I'm feminist, eco-conscious, and sorta heathen straight-edge. I'm married to my best friend; he's straight and Christian, and I'm neither. I mostly like people who are trying to do something worthwhile with their lives while staying present in the moment.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I can't really host surfers right now, but I love couchsurfing when I travel, and I'd be happy to meet travelers passing through Austin.

Sustainable farming and local food, progressive education (unschooling, etc), nutrition (especially Weston A.
