CURRENT MISSION

I like to walk around. I am an urbanist and love city life. I also love cycling and checking out parks, museums, water, and more.

ABOUT ME

Have lived in Cusco, Quepos, Jakarta, Singapore, Bukit Lawang, Nanjing and now back in my hometown of Seattle as a social studies teacher. I live with my wife and our two cats and we live near downtown and often walk or cycle around. I love books but please recommend some fiction to me as non-fiction dominates my reading.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly used CS to meet people in new cities and to attend weekly meetups in Singapore. I have started it back up again before I travel this summer. I am going to get more involved in the Seattle scene.

I couldn't choose just one so I chose three. An Orangutan picked my pocket while hiking through a rain forest in North Sumatra. I have written my name on the Berlin Wall. I also took a nap on Machu Picchu. Favorite country so far is Mongolia with Peru, Sri Lanka, Indonesia very close.
