ABOUT ME

Work as a full time electrician in and around Devon and Cornwall. I enjoy my job and am pretty much my own boss. Not many people these days do enjoy how they earn money!
Love to travel, and have done a fair bit of sailing over the years. Love cycling, though the British weather can be frustrating.
I do some running, and am a member of a local Hash house harrier group.

PHILOSOPHY

Always have an optimistic outlook on life. Can easily get over setbacks that life throws at you from time to time.

Not a great fan of reading fiction books, but read true life accounts and travel books. Read Josie Dew's 'long cloud ride'. Read also 'Between a rock and a hard place', 'Danziggers travels' and 'The hungry cyclist'.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sailed across the Atlantic in a 24 ft yacht 1989.
Bussed around Venezuela and flew over Angel falls.1989.
Trekking in the Himalaya's,1994.
5 trips to the USA touring out west, took my children to Florida 2005, great!
Cycled Vienna to Budapest 2009.
Cycled New York to San Francisco, From May 9th 2010, to June 22nd...45 days covering 3360 miles.
