About Me

Hey :) I am 36 and I am a Social Worker that helps clients living with HIV/AIDS. I was born in Panama City, Florida and moved to Murfreesboro, Tennessee in 1999. I went to Middle Tennessee State University and got my degree in Social Work. I worked in nursing home for a short period and managed two video stores for a total of ten years. I did my internship in 2008 and a year later they hired me at my current agency I work for now and live in Nashville Tennessee. I love my job as much as I love to travel. I enjoy working to empower people to reach their goals and I've been there for many clients in their final days. I love traveling and learning about places I've not been to before as well as revisiting places I love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just became a member and looking forward to meeting individuals who love to share their experiences and knowledge of their city, countries, and lives.

Interests

I enjoy visiting historical places. I love having chats over coffee or tea. Traveling makes me feel alive and was something I've wanted to do since I was little, but was unable to do so until I was older.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am open to so much music. I believe music can tap any emotion and a song can tell our story even if it were written by someone else. I love Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, One Republic, Coldplay, Eminem, Luciano Pavarotti, Susan Boyle, Pink, Sia, and so many others. I love movies that make you feel something.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have two favorite words Awesome and Amazing. I think one amazing thing I've done would be to help clients that were homeless find the resources to get medications they need to get better, help them get back to work, get off the streets, and get the life they wanted. Some people just need options and a second chance. They do all the work to make it happen but it is awesome to be a part of their journey.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, Poland, Qatar, Slovakia, Wales

Countries I’ve Lived In
