Although I live a quiet social life, I quite like meeting interesting people, travellers in particular I find good fun. I have been so will looked after when 'I' have travelled over the years I want to give a little back to the backpacking community.

School is a big part of my life. Our's is a fairly small community so students parents and colleagues make up a lot of the organisations I am involved with. Swimming Hockey and Surf Club are examples. Our life here is very easy with no traffic issues and I always feel safe and secure in 'The Camden Haven'.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travel is what sustains me ! The life on the road is filled with sometimes intense experiences that I can relive in my mind and share with my students in a positive way. I don't so much pine for the past (although many destinations have changed beyond recognition in recent years) but I am keen to discover new places and communities.

Some years ago I was a member of Hospitality Club, my mojo was 'travel is 10% places and 90% people', this remains true to this day.

Luck has blessed me with giving me the opportunity to live in one of the most beautiful locations in Australia. I want to share this with travelling guests, who would likely drive straight past this hidden gem.
