Overview
About Me
Born in California, I grew up in Costa Rica and went to university in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I dropped out of school to run a beach bar and start a horse tour company in Uruguay. I've worked for Shania Twain in New Zealand and the former head of the secret police in Vietnam. I've been a substitute school teacher in New Mexico and taught English in Italy. I've also spent considerable time as a vagabond exploring the world's natural treasures. My favorite pastime is off trail hiking and I've spent a lot of time lost in jungles and forests around the world.
I have dedicate my life to farming because I love the physical work, being in touch with the earth and producing something of real value for my fellow man. My great ambition is to help develop the new sustainable agricultural systems we are going to need in the not so distant future.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've stayed in over 50 different homes and I am glad to pay it back too. Also, meeting new people adds a little color to the day in rural Wisconsin.
