Overview
About Me
Hello! I'm currently a student on exchange at ESSEC Business School in Paris, living here until April. I'm from Toronto, Canada, which is the city I grew up in and have lived in all my life. I initially studied engineering and now I study finance. During my exchange, I am hoping to meet as many people and make as many trips as possible, to see different towns and cities in France and Europe!
My love for travel led me to pursue an exchange term in the first place, and now to couch surfing. I love to try new ANYTHING - new foods, new wines, new drinks, new activities and hobbies, make new friends, new sports, etc. Making new friends and learning about different cultures makes the world a little smaller and healthily challenges our own perspectives and assumptions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet cool people in Paris and abroad, share stories, try new things, and get local tips on places to go and things to see!
When I return back to Toronto in July, I hope to share with you my city should you come to visit!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like indie folk and pop mostly, but am pretty open to all music.
Sadly I don't watch many movies but I do consume a lot of TV and documentaries. My favs include Suits, Good Wife, How to Get Away With Murder, Archer, Arrested Development, Portlandia, House of Cards, etc..
Even more sadly, the only books I read at the moment are about finance :( but The Alchemist and The Tao of Pooh are two of my all time favs.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was once convinced to go sky-diving and bungy jumping on the same day when visiting Queenstown in New Zealand (you could call it peer pressure) and I am still TERRIFIED of heights!
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to exchange stories about growing up, studying, working, traveling to, living (and partying!) in different parts of the world - hopefully we can enlighten each other and make this world a little smaller.
