Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I did some travelling with Couchsurfing in 2010 then I drifted out of it. I feel like connecting again. I have to warn you I am 75 years old, I recently survived a heart operation with massive complications and so my notions of fun may be seriously different from yours. Basically I'm offering somewhere to sleep and local information. You will have to look after yourself.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A charity motorcycle trip from Land's End to John o' Groats and back climbing the three highest a mountains in Britain in winter - and it was the winter of '86, quite a fierce one.
More amazing, of course, is write the books I've written. If what I basically know is true, the human race is in for an enormous and wonderful surprise in the coming decades.
