Overview
About Me
I've been around for 31 years. I've been told by enough people to believe that I'm charismatic though I truly enjoy quiet time alone. I'm not a big drinker or partier but I will go out if the company is good and the wallet has no complaint.
I spent 2 years traveling south east Asia as well as India and Nepal. Traveling has become my life, my love, my reason for all I do. The world and its inhabitants is beautiful and unique and worth exploring.
Bottom line: If you wanna know, just ask. I'm very open to questions. Especially in person. I love a stimulating conversation and often try to shy away from more vapid subject matter.
The only social media that I keep up with is my travel-shenanigans Instagram.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is a great alternative to hostel hopping that allows me to meet new folks that are open-minded and open-hearted. Also due to the nature of my travel style, the more money saved equals the longer I can continue exploring this crazy and beautiful world.
Interests
We love nature, hiking, swimming, yoga, and meeting new people! Learning about culture and history is a very important part of travel. Tony plays kendama, and practices poi. Mary performs with fire and loves to hula hoop. We both love to dance and would love to take classes!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've survived a terrible motorcycle crash and lived to tell about the importance of helmets.
The motorcycle was a yellow 2004 Ducati monster. It was my baby and perhaps I loved her too much. But I believe that, in its death, it has taught me what is truly important about life. I would not trade the experience of the last 3 years of recovery for anything.
Teach, Learn, Share
Depending on your own personal skill level I can teach you proper form for stretching. I've been told that I am a great conversationalist for fledgling English speakers due to my metered speech and annunciation.
I'd love to learn cooking styles from different countries. And we love to cook for others and share a meal. We are always interested in learning new recipes/techniques to expand our pallete.
What I Can Share with Hosts
