About Me
I'm taking the opportunity to have a mid-life gap year. I'm planning on spending 2017 in Europe. I'm keen to; investigate my German family ancestry, enjoy the hospitality of the countries of the EU, recharge and re-create ready for the next stage of life and enjoy a time of freedom from responsibility. I'm taking a gamble, resigning from my job, travelling and am not too sure what the next stage of life will look like.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've heard it's a great way to get to know a town/city and to find out all the good tips the locals take for granted.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I've lived in parts of Australia that even not many Australians get to experience. I grew up on a farm in the south west of Australia, I have lived on remote Aboriginal communities in Central Australia, and provide housing in Perth.
