About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To become the most interesting man alive.

ABOUT ME

"If you needed someone to help you out, Tony is your guy. I mean, with anything. You need somethin fixed? Tony. You need advice about a girl giving you trouble? Tony. You need someone's legs broken? Tony. You need someone to sit around with you wearing a matching pajama onesie while you both watch cartoons and giggle? Tony." -That's from my friend David when I asked him for help with this.

Anyway, I like to think I'm a reliable, honest guy, who doesn't take himself too seriously and is always up for a good adventure.

PHILOSOPHY

"It's only a problem if you plan on living a long time."

Interests

I like challenging myself and testing my comfort zone. I exercise a lot and follow a wide variety of sports, having played several in high school. I like talking philosophy of any kind and write a lot of fiction in my spare time. I enjoy any sort of art (particularly literature) that challenges me and makes me consider my previous way of thinking. My favorite living author is Cormac McCarthy and my favorite author of all time is Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dostoevsky, Dante, Malcolm Gladwell, Cormac McCarthy, Lord of the Rings, Goodwill Hunting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing Boticelli's "Birth of Venus" in person in Florence blew me away. I'd taken plenty of art history courses, but it wasn't until I actually saw the painting that it actually emotionally affected me. It made me realize how much I need to experience life outside of a classroom to really appreciate it.

I live in Seoul now, but will always be in love with Rome. No singular moment really captures it, but the scope, history, and character of the city make you feel very insignificant as a person while simultaneously making you feel grateful for having been included in that history in even a small way.
