About Me

I’m an Italian Argentinian traveler, I’ve travelled across South America, Europe and Asia as a backpacker, digital nomad and tourist.

Nowadays I travel as a nomad in Asia, more specifically in China, from where I hold a long tourist visa, and plan to make use of it by going to as many iconic places as I can.

My main profession is software development, but I stopped working some time ago to dedicate full time on traveling for some time. For such reason, I usually go on a budget.

My last home was in Bagheria, a small town 15 min away by train from Palermo, Italy. It's got a beach peninsula 4km away too.

I want to connect with locals and expats and exchange our experiences and culture. There’s just so much of our worlds we can share with each other :)

Due to its high cost I won’t be getting verified soon, but you can check my social media instead. My ig is t.o.n.y.or and my wechat is me_wangfang

I just got this account back from lack of usage and expired subscription throughout the years, hopefully it will come handy now.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

For meeting nice people, learning about culture and sharing experiences. Also the events tracker comes quite handy.

Interests

I like street lifestyle. Even if I spend hours getting organized at home, I give being out a significant value to collect memories.

I’m a big fan of football, as you may know Messi is also Argentinian so I know a big deal about how Argentinians see him in general.
I like playing sports in general, I’m a very active and energetic person. I know the rules and know how to play most.

I like music, and can play several instruments. It’s important to add that being able to get a hold of a Chinese instrument would be delightful, I really learn the basics very fast.

Music, Movies, and Books

My main inspiration for this Chinese trip is Chinese music of all sorts, but especially an album called China from the great greek musician Vangelis (it’s an oldie so not many people may not be aware of its existence)
I can’t skip the great Stephen Chow and all his movies. I’m a great fan of a couple of them and also feel very inspired in this journey.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’ve been on tv several times over. Nowadays I’m on a Netflix show, and also on a Japanese tv drama show.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you English, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. A few expression in Japanese or French may come available but nothing significantly important.
I’m learning my first expressions in Chinese so any help is much appreciated ;)

I can teach you Italian and Argentinian cuisine. From Chinese I learned to roll some dumplings for new year haha

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can do language and culture exchange and learn from one another.
It is important to remark that I come from two cultures, with all the complexities involved in them. I really have a good insights on their ways, and not to mention all the cultures that I’ve learned from in the time that I’ve been traveling, like south eastern Asian cultures, Eastern Asia cultures, South American, European, Eastern European and
North American.
