Overview
About Me
After traveling in Europe for a month. I understand the importance of a safe and friendly home for travelers. I enjoy talking to new people. It's important to listen to what people say, not what you think you heard. I am a former military officer who teaches in Texas. Looking foward to making some great friends and hopefully returning the favor if you ever visit Texas.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm very fortunate to be blessed with a large home that I can share with a person traveling. I also like talking to people and you cannot talk to them in a hotel room. I travelled the world and I met great people in the oddest places, China, Iraq, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Key West, and many other beautiful places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our helicopter aircrew rescued 3 Spanish mountain climbers on Mount McKinely, Alaska. We worked together as a team to help others. I feel very honored to have helped many people in the military. I also continue to help young people by teaching.
