About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world until the money runs out.....

ABOUT ME

I grew up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I did typical Cape Cod things, like sailing, swimming, fishing, etc. I took that love of the ocean to the Coast Guard Academy in Connecticut. It was there that I started my love affair with tattoos, and a love/hate relationship with rugby. Upon graduation I reported to a 270 foot ship home ported in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. We sailed everywhere from Canada to Colombia, South America. I've spent the last three years sailing a desk just outside of Washington, D.C.. I bought my first Harley in 2007 and have ridden almost 10,000 miles a year since I bought it. So far I've ridden in every state on the east coast from South Carolina to Maine. My time in the Coast Guard expires at the end of July and I am taking my motorcycle on a 15,000 mile journey that will span the continent from Alaska to Key West, FL. I plan to hit 49 of 50 states, as well as a jaunt in to Mexico. UPDATE The motorcycle trip is over, and was a huge success. Thanks to the couchsurfers along the way that hosted me. I ended up riding over 18,000 miles in 72 days!

PHILOSOPHY

Ride it like you stole it, and I'll sleep when I'm dead (with the exception of a nap every now and then)
