I'm an English person in the States studying a PhD in Literature at UC Santa Cruz! I've been here almost a year. I still have the accent. I'm new here so still getting used to west coast culture, kombucha and kale chips.

I first started using Couchsurfing in Turkey when I was hitch-hiking around the country, and then hosted in Glasgow while I was there. I love the community!

When I'm in Santa Cruz I really like to take advantage of the nature - the forests, the ocean views, the animals. But other than that I like to play music and listen to music, go cycling, read, go to the theatre, and to cook. And I really, really like to dance, but not in any skilled way.
