ABOUT ME

I've on a career break from work and I've been traveling for the past-Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, India and Sri Lanka, Borneo, Philippines, India and currently in South America.
No definite plans, taking it as it comes.
I'm Irish, housetrained and I like to think I'm a relaxed person with a good sense of humour. Travel is a huge passion of mine, I love meeting and learning from people I meet along the way, oh and the sights are important too!

PHILOSOPHY

At the moment I'm hoping to broaden my horizons and make some friends along the way. Have had some fantastic experiences so far and am looking forward to a lot more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed all over the world on friend's couches, decided it's time to get more involved. Hoping to meet open-minded travellers as I make my way around the world and get lots of visitors to my part of Ireland (when I get back there :)!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was great, met a lot of interesting people (not just my host!) and saw quite a few places I probably wouldn't have otherwise.

Last book "Shantaram" (a must read based in Bombay), last movie "Avatar" (fantastic and it wasn't even in 3D), Music almost everything :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Standing on the edge of a volcano in Indonesia back in 1995 (can't remember the name of the place at the moment!Mount Bromo maybe ??)

I'm a qualified yoga teacher, maths physics & english teacher. know a bit about computers. Can cook. Know how to fix a bicycle puncture and change a car tyre. I also love learning new things/skills.
