About Me

I live in Cabo San Lucas now. I am not in St. Thomas.

Here it goes.

Should of, could of, would of....

I should of bought a house, and I could of bought a car, but I would of never known….

Known about living this farcical life where I book flights the day I’m ready to leave. Where I don’t have a clue what I’m going to do today, let alone tomorrow. Where quitting your perfectly fine, good paying job to live out of a backpack and share a room with 20 strangers is the norm. Where half the time I forget where I am, and the other half I’m trying to figure out where I’m going next, and I never know what fucking day it is, or what I’m going to encounter.

I've spent the last 200 or so days (as of Jan 5, 2016) traveling Southeast Asia to 8 countries, 60 cities, and meeting countless great friends, locals and travelers alike.

a little bit more about me -

I'm Tony Panapinto, a 25 year old looking to experience everything this world has to offer. I truly believe in living your dreams. While, I don't exactly know what they consist of yet, I believe i'm heading in the right direction (haha). And well, so far it's workin' out alright.

Right out of college I was given the opportunity to work as an event coordinator for a large corporation traveling the United States to 25 cities. My contract ended in December; boss kind of left me on a whim as to when I was going to get another one, so I decided to pack my bags and head to St. Thomas USVI to spend my winter and blow my hard-earned money. Well, the money went fairly quick, so one day I decided to rent a scooter and go around the Island with a heartfelt resume' and cover letter. I went on a whim that day and handed both my resume' and cover letter to the front desk at the Marriott. The woman read my cover letter and said "this is really cute" (not exactly what I was going for). She immediately called the manager and we did an interview on the spot. I walked out the Marketing Executive that day haha. Still crazy to think. Anyway, a couple weeks later my boss from back home called and asked if I was ready for our next event tour. I replied "I think i'm gonna just stay here in St. Thomas for a while", and well almost 2 years I'm onto my next journey. It's been nothing short of a dream come true, and I can't wait to see where I end up? Now I'm living in Mexico.

PHILOSOPHY

We're all here, cuz we're not all there.

Life ain't all sunshine and rainbows, but it sure as hell can be.

Before you go pointing fingers, make sure your hands are clean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2011, I lost my driver's license due to 3 speeding violations in a year. In order to hide this from my father, me and my mother conjured together and decided that I would study abroad in Italy that summer. I was literally dropped off at the airport with an address to my apartment. It took me 3 hours to find my apartment on the street and a lot longer to figure out how to get around alone, but I did it. Great experience.
