ABOUT ME

To me, there's no better feeling than stepping off a plane, train or bus into a place you have never been, not knowing where you are or what direction is north. The excitement and unfamiliarity of the situation really appeals to me and I am addicted to it. I love meeting new people and learning about where they are from and how they grew up. It's fascinating to learn how different people's environments can be but also how we can come together and become friends over a drink or some food. I am a fun, outgoing, friendly, considerate and open minded person who loves to explore and spread positive vibes.

I also love food a lot! I love when people teach me about the cuisine of their country and I love to teach people about mine. I love to cook for people and enjoy what the city nights have to offer.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life to the fullest, try to make as many friends as possible and never burn my bridges. Honesty and integrity is key, that and hard work will get you far in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to share my couch with you in hopes of making friends and maybe I can show you around my city. I would like to offer people something they wouldn't normally be able to experience.

While I travel it would be great to meet new friends from different places in the world. It would also be cool to get local people to plug me into things that I normally wouldn't get to experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

SO far it's been great, the couchsurfing community has been amazing and I'm happy to be apart of it.

My good friend Sean is a host and he has a lot of people stay with him. Pretty much every wknd I get to meet all sorts of really cool people from all over the world and I think this idea is AMAZING! Bringing people together is what the human spirit is all about.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all sorts of movies, really it would be impossible for me to sit here and name them all. I respect a well made film and I can always tell within the first 5 minutes if a movie will be good or not.

Music: 80s music, hip hop, rock, Sublime, Bob Marley, ska music, electronic, house, funk, soul, jazz.. I really like all kinds of music and have a really open mind.

Books; I mostly like food books but I also have been reading science books lately. I also love philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I climbed a live Volcano while the soles of my shoes melted and lived to tell about it. I've seen some amazing sunsets in many parts of the world, swam in some amazing waters, zip lined, been to the top of a mountain.. lots of stuff :)
