ABOUT ME - call me Tony, the Z name is my PL name given to me by parents...

I am 32 years old(when i started surfing). I was born in Gliwice, Poland. Started my child hood there until I was 5 years. Then for political reasons my parents moved to St. Louis, Missouri USA. So basically I grew up, was educated, and started a profession in the states in the last 26-27 years. After working for many years 50+ hours a week and basically just working harder and harder, I decided I need a vacation. Not only a vacation, but a life change and an new experience. It was kinda hard to leave all my friends, family, and basically everything I know. I had to do it. I had to see more. So I am here.

Its been wonderful here so far. But kinda challenging to find people to chit chat with. Until Couch Surfing. This is a great site for meeting like minded people. It was just hard for me at first to meet new people when you come come from a city where you know most everybody. So meeting people is I guess, a new skill I have to a acquire. I also wasn't ready for the language barrier. I speak very little Spanish.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can share what I know about small city life, my mechanical and business knowledge. I can listen to anybody. So you can always call me to talk to me. I am not so good at starting conversation, but I am a super good listener.
I have a couch and can cook Polish food. Mmmm, Barsch! My Favorite!
Oh, cant forget pierogis.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, when your new this is like the easiest way to meet people. And it seems that people are eager to meet you as you are to meet them. From the moment you get somewhere you can just feel the interest in finding out who each other is.

Interests

Love outdoor sports. I mountain bike, rollerblade, swim, run, hike, and basically anything outdoors. Like balancing body and mind with Yoga. Currently spending many hours a day biking all over the city. Have some really awesome photos to share.
