Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We're moving out of Switzerland, so we cannot accept guests for now. Stay tuned for a new country in the future!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was one of the people welcoming (CS) travellers in Leuven, during CS Meetings or other CS events. But we've recently moved to Geneva (Switzerland) and finally got settled! Always up for a drink or some activity when the calendar allows!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My main CS experience was in Lille where I met a whole bunch of great people who form a tight group and welcome any foreigner to join. I enjoy greatly the atmosphere that lives in the CSers minds.
We've had a couple of visitors crashing on our couch in Leuven.

I tried to attend the Monthly CouchSurfing meetings in Leuven, where, everytime, I met new people that I get to know better. Here in Geneva, everything is new; so we didn't look for CS opportunities just yet (too many new people in our daily lives!)

Music, Movies, and Books

Science fiction and fantasy. Literature for me, is to relax my brains. Therefore I'm not reading about any heavy subjects.

Lately I have been trying to read more about people and management skills. A very interesting topic that I'm starting to apply in my professional career.

I love movies (give me sci-fi anytime) & series (GoT, Weeds, Stranger Things, WestWorld, Star Trek/Gate, Black Mirror, Altered Carbon).

I'm a bit of a commercial/no brainer house/dance kind of person. Don't judge me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I've been to China twice (first for 2 weeks with college, next time for the wedding of my best friend!). Probably the best trips of my life so far.
It's amazing what a difference there is between their and my culture! After that trip I became best friends with my fellow Chinese students!

I've also visited India, another great time. And now we'll be traveling to Iceland a nature beauty!

Now we've made the jump to Switzerland, which is another adventure for me!

Have you ever heard about GeoCaching? I'd like to find at least one everywhere I go. It's like finding treasures all over the world, a lot of fun!

If you don't know about it, I'd be very happy to introduce you to it! It seems to combine quite well with CouchSurfing.
