ABOUT ME

I do get every year one year older and try to enjoy every singel day of my life. Started my, as I call it, second life in 1990 when I started traveling and working in a hostel. In the meantime I run my own tour company and work as a guide mainly in Germany (Rothenburg ob der Tauber). The part of the world I know best. It is a great job and gives me enough time to do other things like becoming a storyteller and opening my own hostel.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is a gift and I try to use it in the best possible way. - Being an ignorant by supporting others. - Death is the secret of life. - There is more than we´ll ever can imagine.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first contact with CS was not really by CS. I did meet Scotty from NZ in a Hostel in Nuremberg/Germany and did offer him to stay at my house. After about 4 great weeks he left again and had left the information and idea of CS. Somehow that was my first contact to CS.
My 2. contact with CS was just as nice. Tommaso, an Italien who lifes in Barcelona/Spain, had time to meet me and a friend for a drink and showed up at 11 pm after he had just finished work with a beer for each of us.

兴趣

I like nature, many different kind of culture, of course music and open minded people. My main subject is history. A movie is just perfect for me to relax. Or if I´m not to tired a book. Sport is also important to my. Badminton, swimming, jogging or skating. Did I forget to say that I like to go out for a beer and sometimes travelling?

When someone offers his/her couch to make our world a little bit better. This still touches me.
Sailing the ocean, horse back riding through the Andies, hiking Nepal, diving in Thailand and having a coffee at my favourit cafe at home.
