ABOUT ME

I am currently a student at Washington University in St. Louis getting my Master in Public Health. This past summer (2011) I spent two months in Mongolia doing research with the World Health Organization - it's been amazing to combine traveling with both school and work!

I worked in the arts and then in the wine business in New York City after graduating from the University of Michigan and then decided to give up my life in art and wine and to pursue a career in health.

I would describe myself as adventurous, fun, and kind - I am always willing to try something new and live out a new experience different from my day to day course of life.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I would like to be able to host the occasional couch surfer passing through town I am not in a position to do so. This winter I met a number of very nice people in the Balkans through couch surfing and would love to also act as a host and ambassador to my current city.

兴趣

I've been spending a lot of time writing about food in the past year. I currently write a column on food and sustainability for a local publication. Otherwise art, photography, good drink, cooking, reading, and great conversations are what keep me going.

I love to try as many different cuisines and foods as possible, which is my favorite part about traveling.
