ABOUT ME

Ahoy wanderers! I'm Katie from Dublin. I spent the last academic year in Austria where I worked on an EVS project supporting people with varied abilities and special needs in training for particiaption in the employment market. They were the sweeeetest nine months of my life. I met a kaleidoscope of beautiful people from all over Europe and was introduced to the many wonders that are to be reaped through surfing aboard a couch. Am now just finishing 6 months in Paris where I've been doing my postgrad studies in international development whilst dabbling in a spot of au pairing. Would love to continue the buzz and meet explorers passing through Dublin and locals alike. Bitte drop me the line any time you find yourself in my neck of the woods!

I am still a novice in the realm of couch surfing and am looking forward to continuing some thoroughly raucous research :D I shall certainly do my very best to secure a tea bag or two for any wandering souls.

Messing about with music, particularly on harp, concertina/ trad Irish flute; getting better acquainted life's little contradictions; buzzing off the varied abilities of everyone around me; conquering the french language; following my feet; cycling at night with my eyes closed.
