Hey there, my name is Topaz. I currently live and work in the center of Israel in a city called Rishon Letzion which is 15 minutes drive from Tel Aviv.
I'm a Speech therapist and now I work mostly with autistic children. I really enjoy my job and I feel like I'm learning a lot about myself and about life by doing it.
I really like traveling in Israel and all over the world and meet new people. I think the experiences that a person might have in a new place can become much more interesting, different and fun while traveling with the local people and generally I feel I can learn a lot from someone's else perspective.
I want to travel as much as possible, meet new friends and experience new and different things. My favorite places I've been traveled so far are India, and Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to get to know new people all over the world, to hear their stories and to exchange different points of views. I enjoy it and I think we can learn a lot from someone's else perspective and today with the new age of the internet we can be friends of people all over the world.
My best experiences were while I was travelled alone and I met new people on the way or when I visited my friends in different places all over the world and I had the chance to experience their place from their eyes.
I first realized I want to travel and meet people all over the world were when I was in high school and I did exchange students. Few years later I was a social worker in the army and I hosted lonely soldiers that came to Israel to serve the Israeli army and left their families for that purpose. That situation fulfil me a lot and taught me new things and perspective to life.

Interests

I enjoy going to the beach, listen to music and go to concerts, watch a good movie, creat new things like paintings and other stuff that I make, read books, dance, sing and play in a theater.
Beside that, I enjoy peaceful places and situations and fulfil myself with good energies. I do it by meditations, music, going to the beach and being with my beautiful dog.
