COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I usually surf with people I know or know thru friends. But they're fairly close friends and drunken university parties don't count!

First experience was when a snow storm cancelled 1/2 the flights one winter outta atlanta. Lost my bags, and lost my place to stay. On my bus ride in the direction i was going I chatted up the person sitting next to me who was going the same place. He let me krash till i got things sorted a few days later. We both are now promoting the CS concept.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've visited 61 countries. Not trying specifically to checkbox countries but I do enjoy going to new countries. Now that I've relocated to the Gulf, I'll likely increase that country count quite a bit.

Got kicked out of my house that I was living in because of 1) an adulterous roommate who'z wife was living very far away 2) the 2nd roommate was a "40 year old virgin" creating other problems 3) Leaving was the best choice!

Human nature at its best! Luckily this situation was relatively harmless and kinda funny.
