About Me
"If you’ve ever met a Finn, chances are they’ve mentioned the reserved nature of their countrymen. Be not afraid – we’re not taciturn brutes. Finns are talkative and hospitable, but the myth of the withdrawn Finn is still alive and well inside Finland. And Finns, with their self-deprecating wit, will be the first to let foreigners in on it. An example of a Finnish joke: 'An introverted Finn looks at his shoes when talking to you; an extroverted Finn looks at your shoes'".
Young Finnish feller living spontaneous life in Helsinki. I relocated to the capital a while ago after inhabiting other rural and not-as-rural communities. My next long stop seems to be in Asia once again, as I will begin my exchange study adventure in December 2019.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Having lived in many places in Finland, having changed schools, ice hockey teams, neighbourhoods and so on, I've always been lucky enough to have been able to surround myself with amazing people. International education and hobbies have gotten me friends from a dozen countries.
I will obviously be trying to maintain this trend by broadening my horizons through diverse social channels – in this case Couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm very open when it comes to music. My daily mix mostly consists of electronic music and lounge tunes though. As my favorite artists I'd name the trance legends of Above and Beyond.
My favorite movie has to be the ever so inspiring Limitless starred by Bradley Cooper.
I'm trying to read the Economist as often as I can. Biographies of football players are probably the only books that aren't gaining dust on my shelves right now.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Gone from sauna to ice cold water - something I recommend doing (at your own risk)! Took a toboggan down from the Great Wall. Went to the Far East three times in a year - all solo.
Teach, Learn, Share
If learning languages gets old (not for me at least) I can teach you how to beatbox!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Heaps of young energy and intellectual curiosity, a Nordic viewpoint to bring to conversations and hopefully some of my local delicacies!
