I've tried to find meaning in life. My naive guess is that if I sail far enough, either the ship will drop off of the pancake world, or then I can finally begin to find myself.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm an anarchist who feels we're on our way of destroying all the beautiful things on this planet. I feel helpless against that.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can host other ppl on my boat, wherever it is or is in transit to. It's a small (27 ft) boat with primitive facilities, but it has 5 berths and has done long sea voyages safely. The boat has basic facilities for cooking, but no oven. There's an electrical heater to combat the coldness of the northern latitudes.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

been through a lot of homes of varied people, some good, some bad experiences. I think it's definitely easier to host someone than to be the one needing a roof!

Intereses

I'm interested in life and all its myriad sub-forms like culture, sociology, philosophy, literature. animal behaviour is interesting :) well.

I've seen a brown bear from 10 meters distance. It stood up on its hind legs and I escaped in panic. Well, I'm still alive.

I can teach languages (the ones that I know). I can also teach programming languages, for those who don't find nerd stuff uninteresting or who are not intimidated of logic. :)

My biggest interest is to learn how to cultivate the land in an organic way, to support a more organic lifestyle and to consume less raw resources.
