About Me
ABOUT ME
How to describe myself? I'm tall, and for some friends too skinny (I can't anything to change it...and I don't want to!). Maybe that's not a lot about me...but it seems fairly typical.
I like to lie down on the beach, stare at the sun and smell the sea. That's why I consider myself very lucky to live in a country with so much coastline! There are other things about Italy that I'm not so happy with, but that's another story.
I'm very curious and I love learn things. That's probably my main goal when I travel: to meet people, see how they live in different countries, and try to understand their points of view about the world and life itself. I like to listen when people speak about things they love. I prefer small groups because it's easier to get to know others and I feel more comfortable.
I'm a teacher, so I enjoy studying and passing on to the kids what I have learned. Sometimes the kids act crazy or there are just too many of them- but most of the time they are funny and lovely.
I like good wine and good food, but I hate eat alone so...I'm happy when friends invite me to their place for dinner. Otherwise a good pizzeria is my favorite place to go out and eat. I think informal restaurants are more friendly and fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
For three days I hiked a beautiful trail called La Via del Sale in Italy. It was once used to transport salt from Genova to Pavia. My friends and I carried everything we needed and had a wonderful time together.
