About Me

Couchsurfing is not just a site for free travel, but a cultural exchange

We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time
-T. S. Eliot, "Little Gidding"

CURRENT MISSION

Recently returned back to the US after 6 years in Vietnam and Thailand, where I met the fabulous Jessica. Got married, bought a truck bed camper and are exploring the country for our DIY honeymoon.

ABOUT ME

Yeah, it's all a game. I'm just the kind of guy who prefers to play it seriously most of the time.

I'm an eagle scout, backpacker, yogi, musician, vegetarian, actor, philosopher, WWOOFer, cyclist, and a wannabe polyglot.

Bucket List:
1. Thru Hike The Appalachian Trail
2. Peace Corps
3. WWOOF (check)
4. Become a certified yoga instructor (check)
5. Go skydiving (check)
6. Get published
7. Bike across America
8. Run a Marathon
9. Have kids

PHILOSOPHY

"Well, what if truth were a woman? What then?"
-Friedrich Nietzsche

"The anxiety-laden problem of what will happen to me when I die is, after all, like asking what happens to my fist when I open my hand, or where my lap goes when I stand up."
-Alan Watts

"We do not seek truth; we seek certainty."
-Bertrand Russell

"And those of us who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music."
-Friedrich Nietzsche.

"In every job that must be done there is an element of fun. You find the fun, and snap! The job's a game."
-Mary Poppins
