After having lived in the same house for the first 18 years of my life I moved to work in Italy. All of a sudden I realised how big and beautiful the world is, on its larger scale and in all the little microcosms that form in any country, city, university and house. Since then I have enjoyed nothing more than exploring these microcosms, visiting places, meeting people, diving in and out - getting familiar and moving on again.

But never could I get to know a place without meeting people who kindly allow me to share in their lives and their experience, to tell me how they see the world and how they handle the unexpected, the ups and downs and especially the everyday.
