I guess we are in child-rearing mode. Our son was born in May of 2013. Sort of shut down the ol' couch for a while. We'll have it back up eventually!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We joined while we were living in Japan, and hosted a the few travelers who came through our cosy little town (not very many people). We stayed with some great people in Japan and Korea, it helped change our whole concept of travel.
When we came back to Canada, we wanted to give back to the community, so we have hosted some folks here. We really enjoy learning about other cultures, going on adventures, festivals, and foreign food!

Ummm I like serious stuff, Monique likes fun stuff. We both like dark comedy- it's the perfect mix!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

both: getting into scuba and seeing our first really big turtle was pretty amazing. Yeah, yeah, it's just a turtle- we're from Calgary, okay? CALGARY! Do you know how far that is from the ocean??
